This
clan is the clan of the gods and of the commoners (farmers,
priests) who live close to nature. Earth, as an element,
symbolizes the gift of life, as it allows trees and plants
to grow.
The earth clan is the clan of animists and of the Shinto
religion. By extension, it evokes the matsuri
(village festivals) in which gods, spirits and demons
were nvoked, in what would later become the famous No
theatre.
