The aesthetics of the game

The two boards of Kigetsu use specific material which cannot always be found in other board games

The map of Japan, on which most of the action takes place,
is a roll made of fabric. This allows it to be put back easily
into the box at the end of the game. Besides, fabric can
be washed in a machine.

The game box is made of wood. This device is both
aestetic and useful, as it allows to integrate
the "Battlefield" module directly within, thus gaining
more space on the table, between the players.

A home made board game

Kigetsu is a family business, and isn't dedicated to profit or industrial competition.
As a consequence, the production is limited, and just a few boxes are available.
If you want tot order a box, go directly to the contact section.

Each box is unique, and there may be some imperfections from one box to another, as
we are dealing here with true prototypes. The author still tries to improve the
quality and to reduce the costs of his game. By the way, the making of a box takes a certain
time, and some pieces coming from foreign countries may also delay the production.
